Ferrari Beaters: Porsche 917LH

This was a real treat to see, the Porsche 917LH in motion outside of the Simeone Museum. Along with this was the Shelby Daytona Coupe, Aston Martin DBR1, and Ford GT40 Mk IV.

Ferrari 458 Italia GT ALMS: Awesome Sound

To me, THIS is how a Ferrari should sound! Every time the car passed by, it sounded like it was in a tunnel. This was taken at Mid-Ohio for the ALMS GT race.

PREMIERE! 2013 SRT Viper in ALMS

I am proud to bring you the premiere of the 2013 SRT Viper competing in ALMS, the American Le Mans Series! Taken at Mid-Ohio, this car is just breathtaking to see and hear. It still uses the blistering 8.4 liter V10 engine. I would like to thank driver Kuno Wittmer for kindly doing my intro!

Ferrari Beaters: Aston Martin DBR1

DtRockstar1 records a very rare and historic Aston Martin DBR1, 1 of 4 built for racing worldwide. The chassis seen here is DBR1/3, which was piloted by Stirling Moss and Jack Brabham. It won the 1000km Nurburgring in 1958, outshining several Ferraris and Porsches. It was later driven by Jim Clark at Le Mans.

This driving demonstration was held at the Simeone Museum in Philadelphia, PA. Once a month, they take a selection of cars from their stunning collection and drive them for museum attendees. The theme of this demonstration was "Ferrari Beaters," as the cars that were driven on this particular day were cars that beat Ferrari in prestigious races. The other cars driven that day were a Porsche 917LH, Shelby Daytona, and a Ford GT40 Mk IV. Also on display outside was a Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa, but was not driven since the theme was "Ferrari Beaters."
